What do I have to do to win?

Hey there! I am enjoying the game. It takes a little while to figure out, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun. Question is, how do I win a scenerio? I mean, there is nothing left of the enemy. There is no ships, population, colonies or anything left of the enemy. I control everything on the map and I still have no victory. What do I have to do to win???

And another question, how do I repopulate a planet that I control? The missionary vessels and progenitor ships don't seem to help....

Population comes back by itself. Takes a while, though, but if you own the planet, the population will slowly regenerate back up to it's max.

From what you describe you should have gotten the Victory screen.  What map are you playing?  Are there other star systems where the AI still has planets, etc.?

I'm playing a small random map. 1 star, 14 planets. There is absolutely nothing left of the AI.
