speed increase

Hi, I was playing the unclean beast the last day, and i wanted him to be come very fast.

so i got him to a speed of 7.4 at a certain point when i leveled up and chose the 10 percent attack and 10 percent speed (inner strenght or something, believ its the second row from above in the abilties screen)

in my book going from 7.4 with ten percent translates into 8.1 (leaving .04 out) but it went to 7.6 so i figured it might not count for any items etc. and just ten percent of the basic speed, but that would mean his standard speed would be 2 and i know its a lot more than that. so is there a limit on it or any other explanation.

 

btw i'm quite the noob (got the game 4 days) so pls keep all the abreviations to a minimum, cuz wehn i was searching through the forum here i understood most, but some of them where unreadable for me

skills are not cumulitive, level three of that skill gives you 10% increased attack speed and 10% faster movement BUT level two already gives you 7% of each, thus you only gained another 3% of each for that skill point.

the speed increase is not 10% of whatever you had currentley.  The formula works as such

2 items/skills

+10% speed
+15% speed

they are summed and then applied to give +25% speed

your calculation method would be 1.1*1.15 = +27% speed.

as you probably had multiple +speed items you calculated the wrong number is all.

aha ok so it's not from left to right like +3 +7 +10 gaining 20 percent, but it only give me 10 if i choose all three

And there is no max speed limit. I've gotten to 14.4 before. I had to use the speed wand, but it was still awesome racing through an entire level faster than a teleport.

Which items/skills did you use to achieve 14.4 speed? As far as I know, your stats are maxed to the cap when you win a game, and you run around at 14 speed one-shotting everyone at the end. This is obviously assumption, but generally believed on the forum.

Here are the speed items:

1) Boots of speed - 10%

2) Journeyman Treads - 15%

3) Swift Anklet - 15%

4) All Fathers Ring - 15%

5) Cloak of Elfinkind - 20%

6) Wand of speed - 25% (active 8 seconds)
