I was just the victim of the Erebus warp on Crucible.  Getting a good game now is just non-existant anymore.  Everytime its seems a good game is about to start; people start using gimmicks, glitches, crashes, or whatever when they start losing.  I've had my fill of it and this game has a plethora of kak gobblers.  I only see single player games for me in the future now because of my last game.

Nothing better than just driving your enemy back into their base, then all of a sudden, Erebus caps the flag in your base and destroys the citadel under a minute.

It was 2v2, both teams were a premade.  My friend and I were on the hosting side.  About 40 minutes into the game we were knocking on their citadel door, had it down to about 30k health.  Next thing you know I see Erebus in our base, capturing the flag then destroying our citadel.

Erebus was played by stellarstaer.  Careful if you play crucible with him and he picks Erebus.  Kahlebb is his partner but kahlebb just threw towers all over the map with rook.  I believe Kahlebb to be a good player but when he is with a prick like stellerstaer, I have to question his honor. 

P.S.  How can I link the replay, its saved as lastgame for me.

for the above if you new about the erubus thing on crucible then its your own dam fault for not paying attention or playing a different map or telling him no erubus on crucible think ahead and take precautions you can easily foil cheaters or assholes by taking steps and precautions also you really shouldnt care about getting a lose by host exploits or some kind of glitch an asshoole does to make it so you dont get the win even tho you destroyed there cit you know you won whats the difference stats mean crap.

I took your first paragraph as advice until I read the second paragraph you wrote.

  Your no better than a noob basher to me now, another asshole that has no life other than Demi-god and believes his word is final.    You expect new players to know all the steps to avoid cheaters? I've played against erebus before on crucible and it hasn't happened.  In other words, I guess i have to be psyhcic to play Demi-god.

 I started playing a month ago and the first time I post in this forum I get an agitated reply like this.  I have respect for a few in the community. the ones I've played with and played the game.  Not those that cheat to win.  There was actually a guy named Chemdude0 or something like that that helped my friend and I learn builds and tactics yesterday. Thanks for that Chem. This was the only game this has happened in compared to the other games with high ranked players just looking for an easy win.  I played these games with higher ranked players because I do realize the community is small.  Instead of being helped I got bashed just like this.  I've read about how jackasses make this game hard on new players but I do not believe that the entire community are assholes like you.  I still don't, even though its getting harder to keep this train of thought with cheats/gimmicks people use to win. 

I'm going to pull a howboutno and assume he does the same shit cheaters do because he was so defensive about it.

BTW, stats mean everything in this game when the people you play are so worried about stats that they cheat to win.  Multiplayer is supposed to be competitive not pre-determined because a more experienced player knows a cheat or gimmick to win.   

And if anyone is still able to help me figure out how to post a replay other than hosting a website to put the replay on, I would be very appreciative.

I think Prus more pissed off at the circumstances than at anyone in particular.

Its not that we lost a game due to somebody using a broken mechanic against us... Its that we worked so HARD to get a game set up against even odds and no one crashed... lagged out, ... random technical issue, etc..

Just for it to be spoiled by a gimmick broken mechanic instead of a good, wholesome victory/loss.

It has nothing to do with the outcome, but rather, the intent of it. Pru, myself, and my wife absolutely love the game. We play to have fun and compete, but sometimes its shit like this that breaks your spirit considering all the trouble you go through to get to the end of a game in the first place.

Now, before I get shit for "smurfing", etc all that crap-

We didnt know better. Pru and I have won some games against decent players based off our time spent competitively playing stuff like DoW1, Wc3, etc when we were younger and had time to compete at a high level. Im tired of trench0r, crag0r, whatever etc coming into games and accusing us of noob bashing. Flat out, we suck. BUT, catch us on a good day, and things might go our way. OUr records arent just indicative of the fact that we play with my wife and lose alot of games... that has nothing to do with it. We are just bad.

We didnt know the Erubus bug could be used to this degree. We do now, but it still doesnt change how lame it was, heh.

Ya it's pretty gay.  It's an intentional feature of the map unfortunately.  Any general can jump across @ lvl 1 with cloak of the night.  Occulus can jump over w/ blast off @ lvl 1.  Ere can batswarm over @ lvl 5.  Any demigod can buy warpstone and jump across.  Any demigod can buy cloak of elfinkind and jump across.  Erebus and Occulus are the most retarded with it since it's such a short cd.  

On top of that, a minion Oak can tear your citadel down by simply sending his spirits across the gap, take out the 3 measly archer towers by your citadel, and destroy the citadel pretty fast @ lvl 10.  Nevermind that it's like warscore 8 to warscore 3 and you have cats out lol.  It's just not the way I enjoy the game either, even if it's possible to counter.  I typically avoid crucible entirely for this reason.

When people do stupid shit like host dc (makes the game not show up at all) I've learned simply to not care.  People would like stats to mean something in this game, but quite simply, they don't.  Yes they can be helpful to determine vague lines of "is he a noob, mid, or great?"  Even then, there are several exceptions.  #1 ranked person plays nothing but pantheon.  He bashes the few noobs who go in there over and over.  He's not terrible, but he's definitely not great.  The joy I get out of the game comes from destroying another team, and if that makes them rage quit, host dc, w/e I'm successful at not just destroying them, but pissing them off enough to end the game through dc lol.

Pruda and mike, I can remember the first time I ran into the 'warp across the void' on Crucible.  I was every bit as pissed as you guys were.  And I got stoned on the forum because 'everybody knows it was designed that way."  I still consider it broken, and will only play it if i'm sure my team can match exploits with the other team.  It does add some unusual strats to the gameplay.

As you guys have also noticed, broken maps and exploits aside, Demigod has some pretty incredible gameplay.  It also has some fun players in the community.  There are also a few to avoid.  I hope you keep playing.

I'm pretty sure this was confirmed as being intentional by the dev's as well.  That's not to say more than a few people hate the mechanic and consider it cheating - I just don' t happen to agree that an intended mechanic is cheating or cheap as it is counterable by 1) having ports and using your eyes 2) choosing a general yourself 3) agreeing before the game begins that no one will jump the gap (I know you didn't know this was possible prior to your game).  Anyway, I hope you don't read all of that and think I'm bashing you.  I'm sorry you have had such a lousy experience with the game and hope games in the future will be better for you.  Demigod can be highly frustrating at times but also very enjoyable.  Those of us who have put up with stat exploiters, desyncers, etc since launch and still play the game are still here for a reason - it can be quite a blast. 

Also - you might want to stick with cataract or prison for 2v2 matches... that should remove the possibility of anyone using the game mechanic you find cheap and hopefully cut down on your frustration.
