United Planets

I loved the concept of the united planets in galciv1 however, i thought it would be better if you could propose legislation yourself. this would make the legislation more relevant to the game rather than random. along with being able to influence others votes, such as allies. it would make sense that two allies would discuss how they would vote prior to the vote being cast on an important thing(like it happens in real world UN) what do you think?

will tell you how much influence it would cost per turn. That then stops relations degenerating)

Obviously any influence spent would be gone and not available in the next vote.

el to it. besides which sometimes topics are voted on that have no current presedence such as terror star ban before anyone is close to researching it, and starbase limits before any significant construction has occured

United Planets probably won't be that much different than it was in the first one.  That said, we plan to do an expansion pack that is purely about politics. I.e. vastly expanding the political emenets of thegame including the United Planets.

I too would like to see more internal politics going on. Perhaps with the expansion?
