Battle of the Gods

selectable scernio, basically you get all the techs except for technological victory. Has anyone ever played a serious game of BotG? Any thoughts?

Obviously, I'd turn the tech victory option off or you'd win in ~100 turns, and i'm guessing all labs would be useless, so you're shoe-horned into a all labs/econ situation

best races? strategies?

I used that once way back when the game was new. I did it just to be able to mess around with all the different techs from the git-go so I could get some experience with how they worked. I have no idea how it might work these days, but I think you'd definitely be able to learn which unique tech tree works best for your play style if you tried a BotG game as each civ.

How are you able to get scenarios to run on your computer? I have windows Vista home premium on a dual core processor machine and have been told by stardock techs that it is because of a bug that I can't run scenarios without the screen going black. I have been waiting for a bug fix that can solve my problem but still haven't found one yet.

You have to make separate scenarios for each race - and because you start with Xeno Ethics, I don't think you can actually choose a morality - I seem to recall not being able to build any morality-specific buildings despite having all morality-based techs.
