Pro tips from a Pro who gives Tips

Learn, good nooblets, about this great game

It's a fact, many of you QQ. Unfortunately, those who QQ are usually the inexperienced nubs.  This is to solve this issue by giving you general tips for ANY demigod.

So, sit back, read, be pro.

Fact: Many of you want to be pro, and try to be cool. This is a video documenting your pathetic attempts

Obviously, the first attempt was successful because she listened to me.  The second was a noob dying to Erebus' COMPLETELY BALANCED skillz.  The cat is me.

Now, the second player did THREE things to fail so hard- he OVEREXTENDED himself,  he RAN INTO TOWERS, and he NEVER USED CONSUMABLES.

1.  Overextending is a common problem for most noobs.  Towers are CRUCIAL for support, and often scare off would be dominators.  STAY CLOSE, these are best defended.  Also, NEVER CHASE a demigod into HIS towers.... which brings me to exactly my next point

2. STOP. It's better to let the other player LIVE with 45 health than to kill him and DIE.  So, stop, and DON'T run into the enemy team's towers.  If you manage to get the other Demigod low on HPs, then let him take the 40seconds to go back and heal, and kill his tower.  Next encounter, you will be able to kill him- this is preparing for the future.

3.  If you are low, its better to spend 400gold on a potion than 40seconds running back to your crystal.  You defend your tower, and are able to whittle the other guy down.

I hope this helps!  These 3 points are the REASON you guys die to Erebus.  He was DESIGNED to capitalize on noobs who don't account for at least 2 of these points, and you will ALWAYS die overextending.

Enjoy my peons.

Um, no there's more to it than that. These are hardly pro tips.

The problem lies in Erebus's ability to dominate the area BETWEEN all of the towers. Thus why he got his much needed nerfing. He's a general who kills Demigods almost as good if not better than Reg and UB and TB who ARE the main harassers and DG killers. It's Erebus extremely high DPS, minions, healing, and easy retreat that make him such an OPed character. He's unstoppable, Reg and UB being tied for second.

When you have two players of the SAME skill level battling eachother out, the Erebus will always win. It's his powerful 1 vs 1 ability that make him so formidable and thus why people complain about him so much.

This is a team game yes, but the reason why people complain about him so much, is because erebus doesn't even need a teammate to dominate. He can get in, fuck shit up, heal, get out, get back in quick, kill them, then get back out. No other Demigod can do it as fast and effectively as erebus while retaining high health without using a potion or item (Sedna being an exception but she can damage for shit)

Dude.  Chaos is a worthless, irredeemable troll...but you missed the joke.  Why so srs?

pro tip: go back to 4chan already

All your threads and responses are pretty much garbage. It's says a lot that you're still able to continue posting here due to your abusive posts towards other members and your spam junk threads.

What is this 4chan you speak of?

Guys, this isn't your soap box to give tips.

Please leave counter-noob propaganda tactics to the professionals.

stop posting then please. ;)

Hmmm Choas is a flaming troll whos crying about the Erebus nerf as it was his main character.

I'd say take his rather obvious tips (certainly not "pro") since they do make sense.  His general attitude and the fact he walks around like hes the ultimate demigod pro with a whole truckload of salt.

Maybe I'd take him more seriously if he didnt offend everyone just by opening his mouth.

I find the best strategy in Demigod is to be solo nearly 100% of the time, at all costs.  This makes it so when the enemy team gang up only you die and not your teammate.

Hope this helps!

lol

Most characters, especially assassins I like to max out enhanced attributes first so that way the enemy team has a harder time trying to kill me.  Stocking up on 6-7 health potions is a big help too!

lol

When I see a Demigod with low health on the opposing team I usually let him escape and heal as a way to say "Hey man, better luck next time".  I believe this builds on the community and helps foster long lasting friendships in a very multiplayer oriented game.  Good sportsmanship is key.

Own for a newb and he loses next game, teach a newb to own and he wins forever

Fair enough. But I think Chaos isn't taking himself too seriously. He's certainly not as bad as some of the trolls around these forums. The title says it all. He's harmless... just a bit silly.

This thread showed so much promise till you had to go make it an "Erebus nerfed ¤cry¤" thread with the last lines.

NEVER CHASE a demigod into HIS tower

It's better to let the other player LIVE with 45 health than to kill him and DIE.

both are pretty bad advices though, Sevenix.

Omg the game is perfectly balanced, how did you know! Erebus was NOT too strong at all - the only reason people thought he was strong is because they fought him when he was next to towers!

Thanks for showing us that this was in fact the first ever game to have zero imbalances, and the only reason we think it does is cuz we dont buy consumables and fight people next to 4 towers.

Also, NEVER CHASE a demigod into HIS tower

The amount of kills I have got by doing this is...a lot. Of course its stupid to chase him if you have low hp and have no means of escaping easily. But if he has 45hp and your confident you can kill him, go for it :)

Thanks for your pr0z tips!

Yea maybe he *is* trying to be funny/silly but heres the thing, this isnt a paying audience but the general internet public.

For example I have a fairly dark sense of humour, some people will find it offensive *so* i only use it where I know I wont cause offense.  Choas here just offends everyone and in general annoys them as well, thats not funny thats plain rude....

This couldn't be a bigger lie if it tried.

Hey, thanks for the bump!

oh, and cool story.

If i had this powah, my life would be complete.

Once you set up yourself as an ass on a forum you can then make amazingly successful troll threads, and this is one of them.  Nicely done.

Honestly, i do it out of the kindness of my heart.  I'm trying to give noobs the tools to be able to not get WTFpwn'd by ANY demigod. Like Erebus.  Who will continue to dominate because it's his character design to ABSOLUTELY rule everything that isn't in the range of a tower. Translated into dev speak, this is "General with mobility" which is saying the same thing.

Anyways, Karma me if you found these tips helpful!

You won't be prolly familiar with this, but YOU Chaosnaska are about to become Athene of Demigod... (In case you're not familiar with who Athene is, well... google it).

2. STOP. It's better to let the other player LIVE with 45 health than to kill him and DIE. So, stop, and DON'T run into the enemy team's towers.

While this is good general advice for new players, it's not completely true.  Better to be safe than dead and certainly not to let yourself be killed by an enemy, but if you can kill an enemy and die to the tower it's still a net gold gain for your side.

just beat Chaosnaka 2v2, I was UB w/ a TB and he was Erebus w/ Sedna he got stomped and ragequit a custom game of conquest. I honestly wasnt able to distinguish him from any other noob, but when he said "I want old bite back, this is lame" I recognized the same lame bullshit from his Erebus nerf posts.

Also, he used alot of pots, but still managed to die with spit on him, maybe buy more health pots??

PRO TIP: Mist removes spit, lul.

"I want old bite back, this is lame"

interesting, considering it hasn't been changed yet.

Erebrus was a assasin machine, to bad hes a general....

Anyways...

I think the best advice is to promote unity in a team therefore if your ally goes back to base you should escort him.

Towers are your bread and butter, max those as soon as possible, and when you get to level 20 invest heavily into XP boost simply because you can and to prove how awesome you are.

Some other steps to help out,

If your ally is getting attacked, dont worry hes probably fine, worry about that pesky tower raping all your troops Greater good for the greatest numbers right?

Also remember, an injured dog comes back stronger, or as I like to say, the harder I jerk off then the thicker my calas (hand skin) will grow back. If you have the ability to heal your teammate or give him an item to help him, dont, its best to let him suffer so that he will be stronger next time hes around.
