Demigod randomly crashes mid game... without an error...

I'm having an issue where I am in the middle of a match and Demigod just closes... The program ends itself and returns me to the desktop. It happens mid game... tried it both with the standard version of Demigod, and today's beta patch.

Windows Vista 64 Home Premium
Intel i6 Core2-Quad Q6700
4GB g.Skill DDR2-1000 RAM
80GB 10K-RPM Western Digital Raptor
ATI Radeon HD 3870x2 Platinum
5.9 Windows Vista Experience Rating

This bug is WORSE than the crashing on fail to connect bug. With the fail to connect bug, you only screw yourself. With this bug, a computer AI takes over for your account; essentially screwing over your team mates... who probably think you quit for QQing.

and to Dash, this happened post Directx update.

Same thing for me. Very annoying.

Vista 64 Ultimate, updated.

Nvidia 8800gts 640mb (182.08_geforce_winvista_64bit_international_whql)

Tried updated drivers (185.85_desktop_winvista_64bit_english_whql). Stil happens. But seems less often.

Realtek ALC883 @ VIA VT8237A High Definition Audio Controller PCI <- onboard audio.

MSI MS-7293 Mainboard.

Updated DirectX.

Running all settings on high, no AA, no shadows.

just thought i'd add that i usually play 4v4s fine, but for some reason my last game ended up freezing on me. the game just stopped responding after becoming increasingly jerky (never happened before in my previous 10+ 4v4s). had to reboot my comp because even ending the process didn't actually kill it for some reason....

If reinstalling the game doesn't help, it wouldn't hurt to run a sfc scan:

-For VISTA Users: click Start, in the start search field type 'cmd'. Right-click on the search result and select 'Run as administrator'.
For XP Users: Click Start and then Run, Type 'cmd' and hit enter.
-VISTA ONLY: If UAC is enabled, click 'Continue'
-Type: sfc /scannow
-Wait for the scan to complete (this can take several minutes)
-When the scan has completed, it should give you some feedback as to the result

is there anything like that for xp?

I'm also experiencing a significant number of crashes. I've ran memtest86+ and hotcpu checker to rule out any hardware issues.

My System is a Shuttle SX48P2-Deluxe with an Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 3.0ghz, 4gB of DDR3 ram, an Asus nVidia 9800 GTX+, running Windows Vista 64-bit. I also experienced similar crashes running Windows 7 64-bit. Fresh installs did not help. DirectX is update to date. sfc.exe passes.

Most of the errors appear to be memory leaks. Often I will a popup mid-battle stating "Out of memory" followed by a crash dump.

I will try to gather some crash dumps, but Demigod QA team might want to run some leak detections and/or static analysis tools IMO.

Did anyone ever find solutions to these in-game crashes? I've been having similar in-game crashes every time; can't play more than 45 mintues, at most.
