PMs not possible from scratch?

How does one create a PM from scratch?  Do I have to see someone's profile before I can PM them?  I can't manually enter their screenname?

All you need to do is click on a users name to the left of the page in a forum... a dropdown menu will appear and you can select PM from there.

It's not possible. You have to find a post, or reply by that person to click on their name to PM them.

yes, unless you're in the forums. then all you have to do is:

click on a users name to the left of the page in a forum... a dropdown menu will appear and you can select PM from there.

correction, it's possible but not with the user name, need to use the member number (no commas)

Alternatively, you can try #1 and if he or she isn't the correct one then increase the number by one and so on. It might take some time, but eventually you'll reach the correct member. ;)

I found out 2 things today...you can PM by user ID and Boxxi has a new personal picture up. :thumbsup:
