Looking at the current server stats, it appears to be about a 50/50 split between beta and non-beta games.

I downgraded from the beta patch last night b/c everytime I tried to join a game, it froze during the map load.

with the current beta you will see more people in vanilla. If you want the favor items fixed you should use the coming beta

No, it's more like 99% non-beta/1% beta.  I just loaded up Demigod with the latest beta patch, and there were zero games to be found.  So, I am currently uninstalling/reinstalling because I actually want to PLAY some games.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with  pancakes here in that there's almost nobody playing the beta patch.  I had 0 games pop up in the 45minutes I was waiting last night and only one game this afternoon which was only a 2vs2 where everyone DCed before the game started so it was me with a bunch of bots.   I might just have to downgrade myself out of this Beta patch and go into the normal game just to get games.

Speaking of which, it's been a while now, how come GPG/Stardock hasn't made the "Beta Patch" a normal patch so that everyone's on the same page instead of splitting their playerbase like this?   I mean, right now it's hurting that some players cannot play with others because of different versions (although it's a great thing against pirates, it sucks for normal customers).
