This is the off-topic forum, actually. There's a subforum for other pc games, but, er, people have the game-specific forums to post about Stardock's games, and not everyone who can see the OT forums is on SD's site because of a game.

But anyways, off-topic is off-topic. And to be honest, I didn't word that science vs god post very well. A lot of people took it the wrong way. So instead of trying to get people to understand that just about everybody misinterpreted what I said in that OP, I just left it alone.
And yeah, I agree with you though. Off-topic needs to lighten up a bit. After all, we didn't start the flame war.

The pirate thread will never ever ever end.
However, Stardock is not primarily a game company. It seems to be primarily about providing apps to prettify Windows, with games as a rapidly increasing side project (esp. as Stardock's been providing an online sales venue for games since...what, Totalgaming.net? Stardock Central?).
That said, gamers don't stop being everything else we are when we're gaming, either, and off-topic is off-topic.

Eh, it's an off-topic forum. You're annoyed that the off-topic posts aren't off-topic in the way you'd prefer. I don't blame you for preferring certain kinds of conversations here, but my best suggestion is to not participate in the threads you don't like.
