Try deleting the game.prefs file in (My) Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\ and then launch the game and try again.

Your login information is cached in this file.  We have seen issues where if the game crashes this file can be written incorrectly and prevent then from logging in.  Usually deleting it and having the game recreate it on next launch will solve the issues.
