Hi!

If you didn't make an archive before upgrading to a new version, AFAIK you can't.  Maybe developers can point you to an archieve of older versions. You can mail them to [email protected] .

Impulse patches you to the current version.

1.05 was the last version with a standalone patch. You would need this file and then to uninstall, install from disk (NOT IMPULSE) and patch to 1.05.

But why you would EVER want to do this is beyond me...

Uninstalling impulse will not help because your computer still stores the 1.16 version, and switching to 1.05 will cause a read error because the program that it's written in can understand both txt and binary, but not both at the same time.  Making sins run on 1.05 is mixing languages, and it won't understand it, and thus won't start.

What you need to do is RENAME your 1.16 versions, everything included which means all the hidden files where the mods go.  It will be located in DOCUMENTS and SETTINGS.

Then you must install the game again, and then search GOOGLE for a 1.05 patch.  There are plenty out there, so you should not have a problem.

So in the end you will have two copies, one that is 1.05, and one that is 1.16.  This is how I have it on my machine now.

Yeah, what about someone with digital software, not sin disc? I would love to play your mod. I got this game thru impulse. Is there another option? Should I wait for v2.5 or find a way to downgrade?
