Unable to unistall logonstudio

from Stardock Forums

I am unable to unistall logonstudio, every time I try to i get the error message "Could not open INSTALL.LOG file."

I am using Vista home premium.

 

Any body know what is causing this?

How did you install it?  THe free or the paid version?  What version?

Are you logged on as the Admin? That may be required.

Yeah I am logged in as admin, its free version 1.0.0 :(

Sounds like you need to copy the Install.LOG file from the Program Files\Stardock\LogonStudio directory to somewhere like C:\Windows where it can find it.

Failing that, try reinstalling it and then uninstalling it.

That's really good advice....also, if you have CCleaner or Revo uninstaller they can zap it. If all else fails, use the stardock zapper.

You can also try removing LogonStudio completely with the following removal tool:

http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe

This app will need to be run as admin in Windows Vista.  Once you do this, you can reboot and reinstall.
