Guide on HOW to roll back to the official non-beta version.

Here is my quick little guide. Dont held me responsible if you screw up something on your registry.

 

32bit user: use regedit:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\Demigod      and change the version to 1.00.054

 

64bit user: use regedit:   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\Drengin.net\Demigod     and change the version to 1.00.054

 

then go into impulse, remove the check on the beta software(dont update at this point), close impulse, and relaunch it. there will be an update available.

(update it youll be back on the official game)

or do what i did.

 

1. Uninstall from impulse.

2. Then it will say it is ready to download.

3. Install from CD (if you have)

4. Run impulse and update it back to normal (make sure you have beta update option off or you will update back to beta - did that too)

5. Play

My guide are mostly for people who got it digitally. Since reinstalling with the DvD is faster than redownloading all the game

Or you can just unclick the "Show Pre-Release Versions", right click on Demigod, click "Verify Installation", then re-download the patch. Worked for me.
