Ok so last night i was playing Demigod and it was working out fine, this morning i come to play some more get into the game then click multiplayer, works awesome, then i click internet and the game just freezes there and doesnt do anything... I have to alt+ctrl+del and end it in processes... i have gone back in and tried to go to internet multiple times and same result every time and im getting pissed.

I was waiting for this game for like 3 weeks before release, but now that its out i think they should have waited a month and got rid of all the connection problems and just problems in general.

Im having the same problem man..I have tried reinstalling the game and everything..I think I have the beta version is there a way to downgrade updates???

Login severs are probably down. If you wait a while you get to the next screen, but as it seems no one can login at the moment.

There is a way to Downgrade:

32bit user: use regedit:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net\Demigod      and change the version to 1.00.054

 

64bit user: use regedit:   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock\Drengin.net\Demigod     and change the version to 1.00.054

 

then go into impulse, remove the check on the beta software(dont update at this point), close impulse, and relaunch it. there will be an update available.

(update it youll be back on the official game)

The cause was that they rolled out a sedrver update this morning that made it so that players no longer had favor points deducted on a purchase of a favor item.  It took about an hour for it get distributed (longer than expected but because it's Sunday, things take longer as there are fewer people to do these things).

It's all back up now.
