File Missing After Impulse Install

Help please

I bought and downloaded the game on Impulse and when I try to run the game it says faultrep.DLL was not found. I've reinstalled it three times and it gives the same error every time.

Please help me out this game looks great and I'd really like to give it a shot.

faultrep.dll is part of your operating system. It is not an Demigod dll. Missing it means there is something wrong with your windows install, or that you do not have the latest service pack/updates.

If you do have the latest service packs and updates, or installing them did not fix the problem, execute "sfc /scannow" from the command prompt or the run dialog. This will try to repair any corrupted or missing system files.

Thanks for the help, but I updated my computer, reinstalled, and then used the run command and reinstalled, and still the same error. Any other possibilites?
