Micro Rant: Sedna and Allies

To put it simply, just because Sedna CAN heal, doesn't mean you should EXPECT her to heal you.

Too many times have I played and my allies have been taken out, then, no doubt out of frustration, a message appears "Sedna, where were you!", "Sedna, why didn't you heal!", "Sedna, WTF!".

To these people, if you have not communicated some sort of plan, please don't expect others to know what you're thinking and follow you blindly. Furthermore, there are many other factors to consider, such as Sedna's current Mana, Health, and immediate goals.

Having a support character as an ally can be helpful. You can be healed, you can be saved, etc. Just don't go expecting Sedna to stop what she's doing and focus on you.

Just tell them to buy Universal Gadgets and provide you with healing. :P

Exactly! You need to learn to play and not rely on healing to survive. Anyone that sits around demainding to be healed is obviously not a good enough player to make due without it. Should Sedna heal allies? Of course she should, but that should be to help them survive long enough to retreat.

 

It's like the whole debate from City of Heroes all over again... The same conclusion will likely happen: Your death's are your own fault. Support characters can make life easier, but they aren't your slaves so don't treat them as such.

when i play as LE, and i see ally fighting enemy i always stun even if im just walking nearby
mainly because the stan is very cheap on mana and it can help my ally a lot
for example if he is too scared to run knowing he will be chased and killed
many allyes thanked me for that small thing as well
and counltless allys were saved by this little stun for just 1 second.

I also use this spacial item (forgot its name) that heals ally for more then 1k HP and damage enemy for 600hp
i tend to use it when we have ally tank (rook) and while he fights i just running around throwing hits here and there
and watching the rooks HP, if i see hes retreating i always jump in to fight off the enemy DGs from his tail.

I never gave it much though it just came naturaly and sometimes its hard for me to see why others
dont do the same as it is easy and basicly free, i assume its due the fact that many people have problems
with micro managing during battle (i.e to attack + to support + to figure out the outcome of every act an so on...)
i came to this conclusion after i noticed that many players in fact cant handle fast mode games.

 

there is many ways to win in this game people who reli on someone else to svae them will defiently die  i give a hand to those who i can help

io dont blindly folo i  do wht i want and useually that  is kill people

and yes sedna opretty much sucks vs  reinforcements

Not really at all. Demigod IS TEAM game and one's death is all of team's fault.

I am suprised that how this can be debated even though Demigod is CLEARLY TEAM game....

You're making a lot of assumptions for someone who has never played with, or against me.

If you're not good enough to play without having someone support you, perhaps you should practice a little more before shooting your mouth off.

Why yes wnmnkh of course.

If at the start of the game somebody decides to charge into the enemy towers and die its the fault of the entire team. The Sedna player should have ran in after him dispensing heal with her right hand while chugging mana pots with her left. Oak should have been shielding in tag team with the QoT. Because if Leeroy fricken Jenkins should die its the whole teams fault.

Maybe he died because the team didnt love him enough. Group Hug!

If you're in the middle of your own battle, and need the shield for yourself, would you ALWAYS give the shield to your ally? If so, I'd imagine you would get killed a fair bit.

Of course, if you mean to say "unless I need it for myself, and I have enough mana, I ALWAYS cast shield", then we're in agreement.

That doesn't mean your team mates should mouth off when you can't cast.

Even during battle if i have 100% HP or 90% HP and my ally got less then 50% i cast shild on him
just becouse as long as my ally stays in battle the greater is the chance to win

Yes, however that wouldn't fulfil the above scenario where you "need the shield". You don't need it at that time, therefore you can freely give it away.

If you had 10%, things would be different.

Anyhow, we don't need to get into a great discussion about it, I simply wanted to air my frustration of selfish teammates.

i  play sedna and i go as a pking build  i kill enermy demis  it works well  but i heal also  i dont folo epople but if i see u and ur low on health ill heal u but if ur out off my range or a rook it might not work

rook because i usualy get bacd luck and click my self through him
