Rumors of my PC's demise were premature.

Thanks to help from yrag andRedneckDude,a presurgey shave job and everyones well wishes my HP has made a speedier than expected recovery.I can't explain why it went into a coma(I suspect hibernation mode) any more than I can it's sudden resurrection. I was cleaning and prepping it for surgery and right before I shaved its private parts it woke up.Go figure,I would too.o_O So far it is back to normal,and I will be soon,or at least what I passed off as normal anyway.;P So to make a long boring story short,hibernation mode is gone and I'm back.

I can't thank you all enough for the advice and  your sympathy for my "condition" Is this community great or what!

Wiz....are you sure it wasn't the mention of the KY (not Kentucky)? Maybe when I said I had my glove on? I think your 'puter misheard me: I said "Prostrate" and it heard "Prostate"...*poof...an "eye opener"  :grin:

 Hehe, I used that hibernation mode once and almost didn't get the machine back.  Swore I'd never use it again.  Glad you got yours back also.
