I, too, think Fences is a great idea. Please hurry up with the professional version.
However, I have two minor issues:
1. I use a Toshiba tablet PC M700 with a 12.1 inch screen. I have the taskbar installed on the left border of the screen. For whatever reason, when I save a file to the desktop it hides under the taskbar. Before Fences was installed, this did not happen.
2. In order to prevent this problem from occurring, I was wondering if it is possible for fences to create a drop area (maybe a hidden fence) for all desktop icons not associated with a fence.
I certainly support the other ideas in the forum concerning collapsible fences and fences with colors for identification purposes.
