Saw this little clip again recently for some reason & noticed something I'd not picked up on before.  It's the famous Henrietta Hughes plea to Obama for help during the campaign.  You'll recognize it.

But pay attention when BO walks over to Hughes to give her a hug at about 40 seconds into the clip & watch the lady to the left of BO as the crowd stands up to applaud.

Nauseating, actually.  I'm afraid there are far too many whose judgment is clouded by such infatuation.  There is much truth to the old saw 'Love is blind.'  Many in the media were similarly 'swept off their feet.'

There is an ironic follow-up to this little story - Henrietta did get a house, at least for a time... courtesy of a Republican.

I actually did notice this some time ago, though I don't remember if it was because someone pointed it out or not.  It's still hilarious - and just a little bit nauseating.

This was noted on JU previously. I wonder if the "I love you" woman knows that Ms. Hughes is about to be removed from the home that was donated to her until it could be sold? Ms. Hughes is also still unemployed.

I saw thi on the news this morning thru foxnews.com videos. Poor lady has not received any help yet (besides the house she is currently living in that is on sale). I didn't notice that part of the video. What really scares me about this adoration of Obama is that most people treat him like a mother who would never believe their child can do any harm. Even when there is proof. I just don't see how anyone can think of any politician as something other than a politician. I mean, do people truly think he is different just because he's Black or something? I don't see any other reason for this much belief, infatuation and downright lust for this man.

For some it might be a "jungle fever" thing. Others really believe black and white are opposites. What most seem to miss is that it all "green" on the inside regardless of the wrapper. Money might not buy love, but it sure buys power and as we are seeing over the years there are many different approaches, but it's really the same objective.

I think it really hit me when I was discussing politics here on JU and someone told me that BO is here to lead us from darkness into the light. People are really and literally worshipping him. It is horrifying.
