Torture approved by Congress

Yes, I said torture was approved by the Congress of the United States of America

Here is how I got there. For the last thirty years the armed forces of the United States have practiced congressionally sanctioned torture.

All members of SpecOps are given two weeks to a month of what we used to call E&E and are now called SERE’s this torture under the guise of “training” prepares our people to survive being captured by the enemy. Part of that so called “training” is water-boarding, sleep depravation, and minimum food and water. The entire curricula was reviewed and amended by the Congress of the United States. Each change has to be viewed by and approved by the Congress before it can be implemented. Every fighter and bomber pilot has to go through this training or an abbreviated form of this vicious and cruel torture. Thousands of American soldier’s sailor’s airmen and marines have been forced to endure weeks if not a full month in the hands of former American POW’s with Congressional oversight just to keep their jobs.

The Congress is now screaming the same tactics used on our own troops is torture when used on captured enemy combatants. If it was not illegal to be used on our servicemen and women why is it illegal to use on our enemy that violated international law? According to international laws if you are caught on the battle field making war on uniformed troops and they are not in uniform they are illegal combatants, just like spies which have no rights and can be shot on sight or tortured or imprisoned. This was purposely put this way to act as a deterrent to being out of uniform or acting as a spy or saboteur.

Our own Congress and our new President, two of the three branches of government are publicly saying that America tortures people. I used to do anti-terrorism when I was in the military; here is what our poor innocent enemy has done to our people since the 70’s.

They fill water pistols and sneak up on an American tourist and squirt acid in their face, men women and children. Kidnapped service men on vacation are held and tortured, not to get information but to hurt without reason. Tied to a chair they take a one inch drill bit and drill through the kneecap, and or the shoulder and then drop the serviceman on the street in pain and agony to find his own way home maimed for life. The terrorists don’t behead their captives but instead cut the head off. The difference is that beheading uses a sharp sword, and done in one swing. They hold the person down and saw through the back of the neck until the persons head comes off. It can take up to a minute to cut the head off that way and five minutes for the brain to die in pain. These poor sweet innocent terrorists cut off fingers and toes or hands and feet then cauterize the wound with a hot knife. You see that is torture.

What America did was not torture, none of these illegal combatants was maimed or injured by our tactics yet we still got the information. Three times water boarding was done by presidential order. Not one instance of this water boarding caused death or injury and never lasted more than a few minutes and never used twice on the same person. The information gained from this saved lives in America. Now with the information in the public the enemy knows what to expect and knows that the things they do to us will never be done to them. With that knowledge the enemy can hold out longer and vital information that could save lives is lost.

Because they are freedom fighters but our own troops are vicious merauderous scumbags who deserve what is coming to them [/sarcasm]

Which is why, btw, they tried to cut the contractually promised medical support to crippled veterans. "the iraq war is evil, ergo our troops are evil, ergo iraq war veterans should pay their own damn medical bills, their contract with the government promising it to them be damned! we can retroactively ignore contracts"....

La, la liberalism! They themselves are "weapons of mass destruction" and we are the target! This is happening becasue they are violating the Constitution. Obamanation is busily claiming authority (it really doesn't have) over our lives.

America needs to wake up and get rid of every Congressman and woman.

I think more we need to see that the original intent of the Founders is restored to the US Constitution.
