demigod sound problem

i have a nvidia 9800 ultra and the sound sometimes crackles in big games. got the latest drivers didnt seem to help. i saw a video on youtube entitled demigod sound problem showing exact problem im having any ideas?

I think this happened in beta, and I believe in response to the problem they included a sound quality option in the options menu. Try changing that.

I had the same problem, i have a geforce 9800gt, and a creative x-fi xtreme audio, and when i installed the newest sound card drivers the problem stopped. hope this helps.

I had this problem last night. Running nForce 780 built-in mobo sound. It seemed to only occur while I was playing the Rook or when a Rook opponent was nearby. I'll try updating my nForce drivers and see how that goes.

Had the same issue. Solve it by turning off the "Use System Reverb" feature in audio settings.

i played one round of the game and closed it for the night however the next time i opened it the sounds were playing up no matter what changes i made in the sound options or what menu i was in.
