If they're updating the download it may be like that for a while. It'll likely be sorted within an hour or so.

I think it is hit or miss right now as I still get the error and others do not. It will be worked out. |-)

The update did not fix the problem it had as mentioned it this thread,at least for me.   LINK   It in no way prevents the use of Icon Developer by other methods so I will give them plenty of time to sort this out and try again.

As elvee and Wizard point out, the fix to the update has worked for some, like myself, but yet not others.  Don't you just love computers and technology.  For those still not able to get the update, just hang in there, it will get straighten out.

Cancel the update and reapply it. It should sort the issue.

I also get this error. I have stoped the download and tried again, and still the same error. I have uninstalled the program, and tried to reinstall it, but then i can't install it again due to the "File Not Found" error. Have not tried with any other program than Icon Developer so far.

You need to cancel the download Allmight, not stop it.  Bottom right on Impulse, click the Cancel button, then install the update again.  worked fine for me.

I'm still getting the "file not found"message.I have XP with SP3 installed.is this a possable reason that I am one of the few still having problems?

Um, thats what i ment by stoping it. I cancelled, but it made no difference to me. I uninstalled, and it made no difference, since i can't install it now due to the same error.

Seems to me that uninstalling an app because of an update thet don't is a tad drastic? I would have just waited until they fix the bug, since the failed update does not hinder the use of the app....just my two sense.

Well, not really. I uninstalled in case the problem was on my side. A file might have been damaged, or something along this way. Hence an uninstall to see if a reinstall would have fixed the problem. But in this case it confirmed that the problem was on Stardocks side.

It finally worked only after unistalling and cleaning the registry from the remnants. Istalled instantly.

Even when it seems like you have no clue what you're doing, we can always count on things getting resolved. Good job. :D
