Now that Bush has won, our country is going to be a failure! He will draft your kids, their kids, and alot of other innocent americans. I dont know about you but Im not trying to go to war just to get my self killed!! All those people over there getting beheaded and tortured, there is NO use for that! And guess what, even after those people are getting killed, guess who sends more innocent people over in Iraq???? Huh,answer that. WAKE UP ITS BUSH!!!!! Forget him, Idont even think people should even pay taxes to give this guy his outragous salary that he gets!! 200,000.00 a year!! Well you guys can do what ever you want, but ive made my decision,.....................SCREW BUSH!!!!!

If I am a member of a Reserve Component of an Armed Force at the beginning of a period of war or national emergency declared by Congress, or if I become a member during that period, my military service may be extended without my consent until six (6) months after the end of that period of war.


That contract does not cover active duty soldiers who are unable to leave the service after they put in their time.

Additionally its been more than a year after Bush formally declared the war


Did you by any chance catch the term "8" years? That's how long Uncle Sam gets to own your soul!

The real issue that will impact us is that we have given our military a series of missions that in total exceed their capability. We should not be using the Reserve and Guard forces to the extent we are. This is not WWII nor anything like it.

The reason our military is not at a level to meet the tasks we have given it began during Bush 41 when than Sec Def Cheney created a blue print to use the peace dividend and cut the military and intel services. Clinton continued and increased the cut back. Bush 43 said our military was too small in the campaign of 2000. After he was elected he did nothing to correct the problem he identified in the campaign of 2000 and added to the problem with the Iraq War.

We may be able to increase the military end strength as required but first Congress must increase the size and provide the added money. Given the milions of people without jobs, I do not think we need a draft.

From that, I either get that Bush said there weren't WMDs before we invaded Iraq, a patently untrue statement, or that he's playing some kind of Bingo game with Saddam and Osama.
