Problem with Wallpaper

I still can't get the wallpaper to work on purchased My Color Themes.  I did a post a few days ago and got some suggestions but none of them worked(uninstalled the theme using Impulse finishing up with Revo uninstall and also used ccleaner, rebooted and installed again with same results, just a red color background on the Carolina Hurricanes no logo.) Also when I downloaded the Object Desktop package which gave me My Colors there were no free themes there. Was that supposed to have any free themes? Thats not important I was just curious. Is there anything else I can try? Any help would be appreciated. Below is the system info if that will help anyone

Looks like you're going to need to send Stardock a support ticket here:

https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit

Include a link to this thread, they'll want the details you've listed above (and probably some more).

In the meantime, if MyColors at least got the wallpapers extracted you might be able to load them manually just as you would any other wallpaper on Vista.  On XP, they get extracted to C:\Windows, don't know where they might be on Vista.  Look for a bmp or jpg file with a name resembling the theme name, such as Carolina Hurricanes or maybe Hurricanes in I'd guess the default Vista wallpaper location.  If MyColors isn't getting them extracted though they won't be there.

Regarding the free themes - Some should show in Impulse and some are released over time for Object Desktop subscribers,  I'm not quite sure exactly what you should be seeing at this point.  Open Impulse and click on the top My Software tab, see if you've got any "MyColors [whatever] Destktop" showing as available.  Also, click on the top Explore tab, click on the left Desktop button, click on the MyColors link that drops down.  Then click on the Price column header button which sorts them by price.  You should then see a few "FREE" desktops listed, most likely AMD Game Destop, Diamond Desktop, and Quest Desktop.  If any or all of those are showing on both the "My Software" tab and the "Explore" tab, I'd bring them down through the "My Software" link as opposed to the "Explore" links, it might keep things sync'd up better, don't really know though.

It's nice to see that you're having such patience with this, I hope support can get you fixed up quickly.  :sun:
