Negative Favor Points?

I think its saying I have negative favor points... Never payed attention to if there was a dash before the points before but... I've tried logging onto different modes and different characters... If there is no negative technically I should have 1400 points to spend but it's not letting me buy anything?

yep here to from over 1000 to -195 and not moving up no matter how much i kill in game wtf is goin on... btw it happened after one of the game crashes that occurs from time to time....after switching back from vista demigod score board back into the game screen froze in grey and game closed......

Same here.  I have played 6 games and won 6 of them as the top or 2nd player, but my favor points are stuck at -80.

2nd, I am too have negative..and have not seen it change. since I noticed it go negative.

As wonderful and witty as that was, there was a beta where the same thing happened and had been reported. Anyway, I would love to see this fixed too. BUMPINATED? Indeed it has been.

Suffering from the bug to,

Will the favor points be recovered when its fixed?

Or is it a good idea to spend them whenever we can afford something in case they dissappear?

Contrition.  Look it up.

If I sold you a lawn tractor that broke down...  Couldn't mow your lawn.  Couldn't tow a cart.  Couldn't help you do what you wanted it to do when I told you it could, and would if you just gave me your money, wouldn't you be upset?

Wouldn't you want to tell me that the $1800 you gave me for a product that I told you would do these things did not, in fact, do them?

Imperfect corollary, I realize.  But too many on these boards are needlessly forgiving.  Hold them, the developers, to reasonable standards!

This is a multiplayer game.  It doesn't work well multiplayer.  At all.

Do favor items bind to certain characters? Because I've bought a few and it seems like I'm actually losing favor items also as well as the points.

To be honest I'm happy with getting any feed back at all, after spending a lot of time on forums for various games with complaints and problems and being met with stony silence. Anyone who tried to download the fallout 3 dlc will know what I'm talking about. Yes they do owe us a game that works right, they're working on it. Please be patient. They have aknowledged that it exists and are working on it. If you don't feel that's good enough then fuck off and play something else.

While i may have had to wait in line for WoW on day 1, i could still play.
Trust me, this doesnt compare.

Please look at WC, WC2, WC3, SC, SC:BW, Diablo, Diablo2 releases. I had 0 problems with each of those releases. While i think this game rocks, i'm not putting this release on the same pedestal as WoW and either should you. I bought every galciv and sins release there was. I want stardock to succeed, but i want them to succed because they earned it. This will NOT go in the history books as a succesful release.

It doesn't matter if you do or not, because it just deletes all the items that you have, and the money you spent on them sends you into the negatives. I'm currently at -750 favor points.

Thank you chaos40. Finally someone who understands that developers being contrite doesn't help the situation at all. I got so disgusted at all the times the server message on WoW came up and said "[SERVER] Going down for restarts to help address the lag. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter". I absolutely despise when companies assume because, funnily enough, that's exactly what they are doing. They're assuming that we give them our patience and understanding instead of actually asking for it.

"We apologise for the loss of favor points and we're working hard on a patch to rectify the situation." is much nicer and much more likely to instill empathy in the customer than "We thank you for your patience and understanding in this lost favor points issue and hope to have a patch for it soon".

PS: i've had this issue too. Played about 8 MP games, won them all and only have ~250 favor. What's even worse is my achievements keep resetting each time I launch the game so I end up not even being able to work towards favor with achievements.
