Do the building upgrades affect his towers or his shoulder weapons?
good question. id love to know. the light tower on his shoulder will definitely network with map towers. i'd also love to know how much extra damage is added from being in the map tower network.
They definitely benefit from the bulding hp upgrade from the citadel, so I'm pretty sure they benefit from the damage. I've been having great success by maxing towers and pumping up structures from the citadel
I was wondering about this as well. I've always bought the citadel tower upgrades and when i start planting towers just in case and they seem ridiculously strong. I <3 towers 
anyone got a definite answer on this? psykofunk said they benefit from the health, anyone test to see if they get the damage/splash as well?
ok, did some tests and i dont think they do benefit from building upgrades. tried both the health and damage upgrades. dont know about the damage as it was hard to tell but none of my towers had their HP regen when damaged so i'm going to assume they dont benefit.
I keep seeing a lot of posts about this.
Rooks towers DO NOT GET ANY SORT OF BONUS FROM CITADEL UPGRADES OR FROM THE PURELY VISUAL EFFECT OF TOWER CHAINING.
Again, NO BONUS.
