Warpstone

How are people finding the Warpstone in the release build?  In the betas it was handy for attacking fleeing enemies, for escaping from a sticky situation, and for shopping trips on Crucible.  I tried buying it today for the first time since release, and the only thing I found it useful for was the shopping.  The range was nerfed so much that unless you're a debuffed Rook, you hardly get to the target location any faster than you could walk.  A wand of speed probably would have been a better investment for catching up with people trying to get away from my Oak...

(EDIT: I should add that this isn't a complaint -- I'm just wondering if there's utility in this thing that I've overlooked)

It is now a bit expensive that I would buy all the other gears first.   It is no longer overpowered like before.   People can now escape without being stun/slowed to death with the balance changes.  In the past, the only good way to escape was warpstone.

I actually don't use the warpstone often as I did. I might buy it after all items on my list as Blitz64 mentioned, but Lord Erebus has Bat swarm which is decent enough to catch to people fleeing. I tend to stick to Teleporting scrolls and just teleport using that to base or to the field.

Tried it once and never again. As said, the range is so short youll almost be faster walking there.
