 Is there a estimated PC spec requirement available? Looks interesting enought to pre-order if my pathetic laptop can handle it. (or now is my excuse to upgrade )

You definatly will need a Shader2 compatable card (if the Political machine 2008 demo don't run, either will Elemental).

We're hoping that, even on a crappy box, you'll be able to play with 'Cloth Map' mode almost always on...but no official specs are known yet

I'm hoping for the 'cloth map' mode to work as well, just because I have a bad laptop that I want to play elemental on.

 

We should have a specs idea for the 1st beta right?   I mean, since the beta 0 at least isn't going to have any 3D?

They haven't given an exact date.  Only that June will be the first phase of beta.
