You made my day!!
Well, half of it... THIS made the other half... It's also musical, but the laugh is on people judging too fast.... ![]()
Great one Mickeko ![]()
"Awe, that just ain't right!"

How did you discover this one, John? ![]()
![]()
I needed this one after today's work! Thanx, man!

John is damn good singer and when I saw this I sent it to him to torture him...I didnt think he would like it. ![]()
WOW... like WOW! Mickeko, thanks for the link to Susan Boyle, I'm absolutely flabbergasted: one, at her incredible voice; and two, the uncanny resemblance she bears to my grandmother on my mother's side... short and dumpy like her, and WHAT a voice.
I've bookmarked the page cos I will revisit regularly.

Yeah that really was an uplifting performance, i watched it several times myself. ![]()
The first one [found by IRB & posted by John] really funny stuff indeed.
Susan Boyle .....WOW! ...just Wow ...simply amazing.
I was about to judge her before she'd even started, but then she sang the first few words and I was instantly gobsmacked.
Hope she goes a long long way with her talent. She deserves to.
Thanks for the links, both of you. ![]()
I, too, was prepared for Susan Boyle to be one of that shows goofy singers, but ... when she began singing it gave me goosebumps! That was a great video! Thanks Mikeko ![]()
I had no pre-conceived notions about her. My grandmother was similar in looks/stature, with a no frills approach to everything, but she could hold the sweetest tune and had a remarkable vocal range and power that belied her appearance. So yeah, hearing Susan Boyle gave me goose bumps and took me back to my childhood.
My mother can also hold a tune well, as could my father... but me, I sound like a wounded bull that just caught its testicles in the barn door,

what does it mean?
My "Top 5"![]()
Four mirrors![]()
My drivers license.![]()
I believe it expresses happiness for Susan Boyle in the video I linked to. And I most definetely agree. Go Susan!
I had tears in my eyes...too good ![]()
must be so many talented shrinking violets out there who never get their turn in the spotlight...I'm glad she got her moment...let's hope it leads to better things....
The Queen video was as funny as the Susan Boyle one was uplifting.. wasn't it?
hmm....would love to have seen Simon judging that one.....
.....'absolute indulgent nonsense'...
and yes v.....was very funny....still going between.....
.....and..... ![]()
Yup, my grandmother never made it to the stage - most of her singing was confined to the kitchen, etc, while she was cooking/cleaning - but my mother made it to Pot of Gold (remember that one, sydney?) with Bernard King as one of the judges... think Simon Cowell is rude/blunt on talent shows, this guy invented it.
As for Susan Boyle... I hope the sky is no limit and she goes far with that beautiful voice of hers.
