Retail release to 0-day update.

By popular demand, here are the changes from the retail release to the latest release build:

  • Fixed bad logic in looking for games protocol.
  • Service loop releases lock for calling functions.
  • Artillery towers no longer targetable.
  • Game Option Tower Strength: Low/Normal/High is now 4200/5600/8400 from 2800/5600/14000
  • Game Option: Starting Gold: Normal, High and Filthy Rich are now 1000/7500/25000 from 1000/7500/25000
  • Teleport abilities throw an effect on the target location
  • LAN game activation
  • Flag Rewards Divided Amongst Capturers
  • Unclean Beast's Foul Grasp will cancel when it attempts to cast another ability.
  • Torch Bearer's Frost Nova/Rain of Ice debuffs now use proper icons. They were all using the Deep Freeze icon originally.
  • Demigod slows reduced in effectiveness
  • Minimum movement rate increased from 2 to 4.5
  • Iron Walkers trigger level changed to movement speed of 5.5
  • Minion base health reduced by 10%.
  • Minion rate of fire heavily increased.
  • Prices for favor items increased
  • Shops reorganized by price
  • The movement speed cap for any unit is 66% of the max movement speed with buffs.
  • Removed the tooltip block from Siege Archers II. Not needed.
  • Adjusted the Stun Immunity for Minions when affected by Mass Charm.
  • Spike Wave and Ground Spikes debuffs can be dispelled.
  • Achievement vaulting updates
  • Adjusment to connecting dialog
  • Lobby corruption fix.
  • STUN IMMUNITY
    • Added a new buff affect, StunImmune.
    • Stuns and Freezes that are also TriggersStunImmune will now check to see if the target is immune to stuns. If they are, float text will display for immunity. If not, the buff will go through.
    • Frost Nova, Boulder Roll, and Mass Charm will trigger immunities and are affected by them. Stun immunity is applied directly after the stun. Reinforcements are not affected by stun immunity. Minions are.
  • CITADEL UPGRADES
    • Citadel Upgrades: Firepower: Firepower cost reduced to 500/1500/2500/3500 from 1200/2400/3600/540
    • Citadel Upgrades: Currency: Gold income increased to 4/6/8 from 2/4/6
    • Citadel Upgrades: Blacksmith: Damage multiplier increased to 35/50/65 from 30/40/50
    • Citadel Upgrades: Fortified Structures: Health Bonus increased to 10/25/40/55 from 10/20/30/40
  • ITEMS
    • Heaven's Wrath:
      • Cooldown reduced from 60 to 45 seconds
      • Damage increased from 200 to 250
      • Area of Effect increased from 5 to 7
    • Blade of the Serpent:
      • Returns 75% of damage instead of 50%

    • Cloak of Night:
      • Cooldown increased from 30 to 60 seconds

      • Lifesteal reduced from 15 to 12%

      • Cooldown increased from 30 to 45 seconds

      • Boulder Roll stun reduced from 2/3/4 to 1.5/2/2.5

      • Damage per level increased from 7.5 to 8.2

      • Shatter damage reduced from 150/300/450/600 to 100/200/300/400
      • Circle of Fire's radius increased to 10 for all levels, this makes a marked difference at low levels
      • Shatter damage reduced from 150/300/450/600 to 100/175/250/325
    • Regulus
      • Mine range increased from 10 to 15 yards
    • Unclean Beast
      • Inner Beast Rate of Fire and Movement speeds decreased from 5/10/15 to 3/7/10
      • Venom Spit damage of time component's damage increased
      • Venom Spit mana cost increased from 450/575/700/825 to 500/650/800950
      • Venom Spit cooldown reduced from 10 to 7 seconds
      • Progression of damage reduced, resulting in less DPS as the Beast levels up

Ouch, was TBs problem where he falls behind and can't shoot people when there moving not fixed, and you made regulus' minds nastier, a lot of cool stuff, but it's gonna take some getting used to.

Speaking of fixing stuff, didn't they fix Rook's hammer slam at one point to be centered on the ground and not the target? So that you could actually escape?

I've gotten hammer slammed a few times so far, and each time the impact looked centered on my retreating Demigod and it definitely hurt like it.

ive started the game (between intro video and menu is long load time) it says update is required to play multiplayer.

i click yes

closes the game.... and thats it. no update. plz help

The hammerslam is ground-targeted, but the point of impact is the hammer - so if you are close to Rook and he goes up for the slam and you run directly away you might be running *into* the slam.  Best practice when you are close afaik is to run through Rook's legs or if a little further away then laterally to the left or right. 

Now my question - I just downloaded the game client after uninstalling Beta, but it's telling me I am fully updated with version 1.00.  Does 1.00 include the day 0 patch?  Do I need to wait until tomorrow to get that update?  I did try restarting Impulse.  Thanks

Mine says 1.00.0091 in the main menu.  I got an update on saturday(bought the game from gamestop).  Is this the same as the 0-day update or not?

Still patiently waiting for some info about the patch, surprised nothing has been said so far. I didn't get any patch nor a prompt to download one, Impulse tells me I have retail and when I click on online ingame it doesn't prompt me for anything.

We have a pre-day 0 update that consists of the changes listed in Yarlen's posts.

The official day 0 update will be released tomorrow though the updates there are mostly regarding server features and not gameplay changes.
