In 1983 I started a new type of correspondence school to help graduate students who had :
Quit high school,
Stopped before they graduated,
Had been home schooled,
Wanted to hurry the school process,
Experienced social, or other problems in regular schools,
Have been out of school for many years, but never graduated,
Live in a different country, and want a U.S. high school diploma,
Have a physical or mental disability and want a special diploma,
There have been hundreds of reasons that people have picked Oceans High School for their diploma. One student sailed at sea with his parents, and was home schooled. Another one lived in Mexico and wanted a Florida High School Diploma. Our school is used in all 50 states (and other places), but we have our licenses as a private high school in Volusia County Florida and Port Orange Florida. Our mailing addresses are:

From 1986 to 1990 I used the Oceans System of getting your high school diploma at the Koala Center in Bushnell Florida. At that time we helped people who checked into the Koala Drug Center a method to earn their high school diploma. During those 5 years we helped 100's of adults and children earn their diploma, or get well on the road to earning their diploma. Using the Koala Center the Oceans Method expanded so that we now have many tests, and can help many different people with all levels of skill experiences. Oceans gives people with special disabilities tests that match what they can do. If someone has a learning disability, we can help.

The Oceans System of High School Graduation is unique because we TEST FIRST. Most schools test last, thus students go over and over material that they already know. Our theory is WHY STUDY THE SAME THINGS YOU ALREADY KNOW OVER AND OVER? WHY NOT SPEND YOUR VALUABLE TIME LEARNING THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW BEFORE?
When you pass a test at Oceans you get the credit, and never have to take that course again. If you don't pass something you can concentrate on that course until you pass the test. You won't have to worry about 5 courses, just the one that you need to pass. When you need to take a test again, then you can -- until you pass it.

Your future education is so important you need to begin work on it right away. Don't delay what you should have started day before yesterday.
Some students don't want to graduate from Oceans High, but rather want to gain credits from Oceans so they can graduate at their local high school. We often help students with SUMMER SCHOOL CREDITS, or just CREDITS TO GET YOU TO THE NEXT GRADE IN HIGH SCHOOL. If that is what you want, we can help you our also. But you do need to check with your local school and see if they will accept credits from another school to help you along. Many schools who will accept credits from up to help you get from the 9th to 10th grades, may not want to let you take out of school credits to help you graduate from their school. If that is the case, just remember you can graduate from our school.
