National Hockey League Playoffs!

National Hockey League Playoffs!

...next wednesday.

Can the NY Rangers select who they'll be playing against this Sunday?

Montreal is IN, if only Markov can cure the knee injured by the MapleThiefs, fast enough.

Tell me which team will win the Stanley Cup -- before it even all starts;

Below, you've got til' April 15th 8:00PM EST.

Guessers get a well earned Karma.

Mine is bolded above.

You're in good shape with Pittsburgh, Jethro420... although i believe the Flames can even their own serie against the Hawks this evening.

Without Markov & Lang & Bouillon & Schneider & Brisebois & S.Kostitsyn, Montreal couldn't generate enough offense in powerplays. Without a familiar coach behind the bench, the team got confused. And the Bruins won it rather easily. :'(

YEs they did...*loads gun* yes they did *points gun at milan lucic*

INdeed we were quite litterally crippled, but that does not excuse the poor performance from our FIT players.

Anyways my vote is for Vancouver. Not for the team or becasue i like the city, but for Luongo; A good French Canadian Goalie who never had it easy in the NHL.

I'm not so sure about Gillett being bought out. Personally i hope he doesn't, he's done a lot of good for the team. HIs problem was in buying Liverpool FC just before the world markets went to shit. Now he's laden in debt.

I sure do speak both official Canadian languages, i doubt it's as wide spread in any other provinces though.

Gillett wants to sell to MAKE profit fast enough to re-finance some huge debts, i heard. Let him, we have enough UQAM teachers on strike already and a Peladeau rich enough to keep newspapers off the stands for months.

Hockey season is over, anyway.

A ta sante mon ami

Go Habs GO

He shoots, he scores.

Zyxpsilon,

are you from montreal?

I was surprised to see a fellow habs fan on a forum like this. Your mentioning of the maplethiefs was also quite heartening. I can, of course as im sure you can too, come up with far stronger and less polite adjectives for those pansies. Of course the way we ended our season and the way the first 3 games have gone...well tonight i might be a very angry person in a couple of hours.

anyways you get Karma for being a Habs fan and hating the Leafs properly like all Habs fans should!

cheers

Go habs go.  Another Fan. WOOT. I'm from Laval. Love the canadiens and hate the dang leafs!<

Vancouver done, Calgary still probable, Montreal out.

2 of 8 would be a Canadian feast in the west.

But the Rangers do surprise me a little, not counting the 0.2 goal by Carolina against Brodeur kinda made  me search for the video online and watch how a lucky puck this fast can mean sooooo much!

I think Pittsburgh could wrap it up tonight -- unless Biron does miracles once again.

Go 'nucks Go

hmm somethign doesnt sound right

next Penguin vs Flyers game better be the last, 3-0 Flyers was not what i had in mind tonight >:(

Detroit is into next round, not a surprise

I'd say the flyers always have a trick up their sleeves. That series is becoming very interesting.

Go Wings!

The Wings are in BIG trouble now... Vancouver, Anaheim?, Calgary? Strangely, if league wide conference matchups could be played NOT for the cup final only - i guess they'd have been already eliminated by the NYRangers!

Wings? In trouble? With the way they've been playing?  I think not.  I, in fact, thought the blue jackets were a huge threat to them seeing how they performed against them during the season, and I'm not just talking about the 8-0 blowout.  They took the wings out of their game by clogging up the middle.  We'll see though!  I look forward to the next round.

My prediction: Detroit, as it would have been if I had been on here earlier :)

Columbus certainly didn't make it sooooo easy for them in the 4th game last evening; 6-5 is not my idea of supremacy.

The way things are as of now, Ducks might have to fly on their path. Or even MUCH more challenging, Chicago or Calgary, btw.

SHhhhh....They are on the edge. Dont throw me any bad karma!!

Columbus never led for even a single second of that series, including their desperate push last night. The next round will be much tougher for the Wings but they have shown they not only have a playoff switch, they flipped it. Now it gets even more fun.

The real fun starts with the last FOUR; Final East, Final West.

It all comes down to which team still has some legs.

The toughest trophy to win in ALL of sports.

4-3 Pittsburgh with 0.45 seconds left... what a game to remember.

Empty netter just now - by Crosby!! :sun:

Happy for Sid. Hope his future stays bright

Sharks against Ducks is crazy right now.  Overtime.... I really want to see the sharks advance because I think they've earned it already!  So many disappointing post seasons for such a good and fun to watch team

California battle isn't over yet. Nabokov & Hiller made it clear enough.
