Bush does the work, Obama may get the glory

According to CharlesCS Inteligence, The President of Moscow admitted to President Obama during the G20 meetings that US Inteligence of Iran was better than theirs. So after all the BS Moscow gave us about Iran and doing little to use their connection with Iran to stop them from proceeding with their nuclear ambitions, now they claim we had better info and that now they find themselves in a pickle for their lack of intel.

So, to use the excuse that many here use that Obama has only been in office for a few months so he has had very little time to accomplish anything good yet, I will give praise to former President Bush for making sure that our Inteligence Agencies had the best Intel possible on Iran since I know no one else will give Bush any points for this.

Way to go Bush, you did a great job. And lets also give President Obama some props too, his butt kissing, bowing and constant "I'm sorry" comments paid off after all.

Obama is not going to give the prior administration one ounce of credit for anything positive.

Short memory or just selective Zoo? ;)

What would be the reaction if Bush went from country to country and apologized for the US's lack of morals (adultery in the White House) during his first 90 days. Or in every speech after speech said that the Clinton administrations lack of action, long after terrorists declared war, caused 9/11? Say what you will about the "cowboy", he may not be as polished as Obama, but he has way more class in this area. We won't even mention Carter.

You can't deny Moscow's admition is proof there was positive work during the Bush administration.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile.  Let's face it, Bush ain't gonna be a shining star in the history of the presidency.  He screwed up...a lot.  His administration did some crazy shit.  He wasn't a great leader.  I'm not even saying this from a political standpoint.  The man was inept.  When 70% of America calls you out on your shit, then that's a problem.

There was some very positive work done with Iranian collection under Bush but Moscow's "admission" has nothing to do with proof and everything to do with plausible deniability for Russia to oppose action against Iran in the U.N.

By playing dumb for a bit Moscow gets to say that they have no corroborating proof of Iranian nucler ambitions and neatly block U.S. moves diplomatically. A neat move but it has nothing to do with the actual state of the Russian intelligence service's collection on Iran.

Russia puts people openly on the ground in Iran by the thousands (they are a massive business partner of Iran). They don't need to scre around peering over borders electronically, trying to infer data from thridhand sources, or paying dubious insiders for juicy but false HUMINT. All  the Russians need to do is look around to see what is going on in Iran as ground truth.

Taking Russia "admission" at face value is laughable and has nothing to do with President Bush's relatively solid management of intelligence collection (there is still so much room for improvement... you woulnd't beleive how bad it got for a long time).

It must have been terribly rough for you being 12 years old at the beginning of the evil Bush reign. So much to compare him to, college works wonders getting the liberal minds together. Let me know how you feel after another 20 years pass, you should be knee deep in paying for your current presidents "judgment" by then.

Previous president didn't spend more than the entire sum of every president to date. The recession in the late 70's was worst than this one is today (double digit unemployment, 17% interest rates), the difference is that they didn't use it as a partisan excuse to push every pet project through in two months like the Democrats are doing now. My portfolio, which doesn't contain any tech stocks, was much lower in value after Clinton's dot com bubble burst than it is today. Were you sleeping through those times? Remember Rahm said he wouldn't let a good crisis go to waste. Half the nations voting morons fell for it in November, believing every bit of Obama's fear mongering, now they are buying it all. If you are going to post a simplified and inaccurate statement (like the one above that leaves out congress) at least throw in a few Democrat talking points to keep us amused.

Even though George Bush was far to the left of where conservatives wanted, and the robots who criticize him should actualy love him, the fact is he had more courage in his left earlobe than the entire democrat whitehouse. This Obama 'hae America first' administration has already sold our grandchildren down the river for a quick political gain, we Americans must do whatever it takes to remove this sneaky lawyer from power, and neutrilizing him with a major congressional turnover in 2010 will be a good start.

You better believe I'm going to take the advice of someone that is 2008 years old, they are doing something right! ;)

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of hate people have for Prs. Bush.   Even in the face of proof that Bush did a lot right, they woud rather live a lie than accept the truth.  It's this kind of hatred that people used to justify lynchings and turning on the gas at Dachau.
