glitch !! losing the turn button

I am losing the turn button - it will not appear under certain circumstances. One is , if I auto-explore an anomolie then the button does not appear and I can't take my turn.

I am DEEP into an epic game and it only started to happen the last 10 turns or so. It would cost many hours to return a savegame where this did not happen because my turns are very long. And I'm not sure if I even have one now as I save often.

yeah I hate that... it happens when the computer runs through the turn but gets stuck for some reason before it begins the new turn...just quick save and reload... the button will be fine.

Normally this happend when a ship still has moves left over. Keep clicking Find untill you come across a ship that has some left over moves. Usually works.

Not that limejello's fix doesn't either.

I have though found that the turn can hang for a number of reasons. None of which bar the "ship movment" seems to have been indentified though.

All the old fixes are NOT working for this since most recent patch...had to abort what was shaping up to be a great game.

I just hit this bug a few minutes ago as well. I was upgrading a ship and after closing the upgrade screen, the turn button was gone. Luckily there was a recent autosave. An unsettling bug, though. (I should have tested whether saving and reloading AFTER losing the button causes it to reappear, but didn't think of that at the time.)

Neilo's solution is the first to try.  It almost always works....Save..Save..Save.  Know the feeling..GcII life can be a bitch.
