State By State Tea Parties In Your Area

Send That Teabag!!

Today a friend sent me a really good video that must have started the whole tea party idea going.   At the time of my earlier posting I didn't know about the video but think it's worth a look.   I wish I had seen this earlier.  If you haven't seen it, it's worth a few minutes to check out.  "Thomas Paine" seems a bit agitated that we haven't had a revolt by now in this country.  How much are we going to take?  How far will we go?    Isn't it about time?

Below you can see state by state where the local tea parties are being held on April 15 all over the nation.  Is there one being held in your area?   
 
 
Some govermental officals are already starting to receive their teabags and from what I've heard so far, they haven't the foggiest........well that's the point isn't it? 
C-L-U-E.......our governmental officials need to get one.  That's what the teabags are all about.  Maybe the jolt of caffeine with wake them up? 
Don't forget to send your teabag by April 15th.  Make sure it's caffinated

somebody brought it to my attention just now that maybe instead of putting the whole bag in, put in just the wrapping or the tag that is attached.  That way they won't throw it away without even opening it up first.

what they really deserve they're not getting.  They deserve to be booted out of office. 

The longer they stay in, the more corrupted they become.

Well maybe if they had to swirl dees around in their mouth a bit, they'd have the same taste in their mouth that this stimulus package leaves us with.

I couldn't agree more.  This is why I still have my self-made bumper sticker on my car that says "Take out the Trash, Vote Against Incumbents".  Apparently it didn't work all that well in 2008 but I'm going to keep it on there and keep talking to anyone who will listen that they need to vote against the idiots in power for anything to actually change.  It takes more than some jackass running for office and saying "change" to actually do anything.  Anyone can claim to be an "agent of change" but only we the people can actually affect the change that we desperately need.

 

Down with incumbents!!!!

People, sending a tea bag isn't really going to do much.  Wanna know why?  Politicians don't open and READ mail anymore. They are opened in a wharehouse out in Virginia.


Better option, take a picture and send it via email where you can add the catchy tags that Karma presented.  Mail it to your senator, reps, and anyone else you can.  This way it actually makes it to their staff and someone who actually has contact with such said politician.

well AD I heard one leader in NH already got her teabag and she hadn't a clue what for.  She called for an investigation.....showing how far removed these leaders really are.

Feel free to use those images for anything you want- they are from a picture that I took and edited.  I also have the blank one that I can email to anyone who wants to add their own text to it.

Personally, if you feel strongly about it, email and mail letters with teabags, pictures and a piece of your mind.

I think that the only way to get the reps to pay attention is if they feel that they will not be re-elected, so hit them where it hurts and let them know that they need to change or people will campaign AGAINST them next re-election.
