Ah, the M5. A Korean War bayonet, the only one specifically designed for the M1. It's notably different from the others, but very similar to bayonets used with the M14 and M16. I have only one of these for practical use and the good news is that it causes the least vibration across the muzzle when the rifle is fired, maintaining the accuracy you would expect when firing without a bayonet. Good choice for use.

Oh, and banned for not duct taping a katana to your gun.
