Banned because you must be new here. I've explained it before. But I love to talk about myself, so I'll do it again.
Basically, when I saw James Cameron's AVATAR I decided that there were some things seriously wrong with the movie, but that it had the potential to actually be something useful if it lost its technophobia and gained a plot. So I set out to write a sequel in graphic-novel format that makes the universe everything it could be, one that focused on a small group of Humans left behind on Pandora after the Na'vi rose up.
Basically, two Na'vi come to the base: the high priestess lady from the movie and a warrior guy I made up. Both realize "you know what, I kind of like pants", and decide to stay. The high priestess becomes a nihilist and gets a lot of great lines from Battlestar Galactica's Brother Cavil cylon, while the warrior falls in love (well, mutual lust) with a Human special-ops trooper who was featured in the movie as Trudy The Pilot. Jake and Neytiri both die, and the Na'vi's sacred tree blows up. The Humans left behind have to fight off a fanatical Na'vi war chief named Eytukahn who is supposed to be an allegory for Osama Bin Laden and the Taliban, as well as a deranged US Army General who is trying to bomb Pandora back into the Cretaceous (they're already in the Stone Age) in order to stop said fanatical Na'vi war chief and retake the base. The base Humans beat them back with an army of self-replicating robots, and the base Humans and surviving Na'vi form an alliance to industrialize the crap out of Pandora and build a new civilization under the leadership of High Priestess Nihilistic Punchline (not her real name).
