banned for it is true that more Republicans voted for the bill than Democrats. Funny how the Democrats try to paint themselves as minority friendly and the Republicans are too stupid to just point this out rather than apologize for 'ignoring' them. Idiots...

Edit: btw, when the bill came up for renewal recently, people made two big mistakes. One was thinking that without renewal their right to vote would be taken away. No, just the strict federal oversight of elections, which isn't really an issue since most states don't try to block black votes anymore. Two is thinking that Republicans were going to go against it and Democrats for when AGAIN more Republicans voted for it than Democrats.
