Banned because I hate just getting up and going. I can if I want to, but I would rather get up earlier and do stuff for a while.
Banned because I take an hour to get to school, but that included 15 minutes of travel time and 20 minutes to read the paper and/or emails.

Banned because I wake up at 6:30 on my own, but am very tired. So I fall back to sleep, and naturally wake up around 8:00 (but my alarm wakes me up at 7:05 on school days) and am not tired at all.
Banned because alarm clocks should be limited to emergency services & combat folks. They should especially be forbidden to early adolescents whose hormones are playing havoc with their circadian rhythms and would probably be much easier for the rest of us to get along with if they were just allowed to wake up naturally, even if that's more or less noon for some of them.

Sadly true but teenagers are being "trained" to survive in the workforce. Never mind the fact that once their hormones stabilize they can be trained with ease.
