Banned for that really is the biggest issue, but the government has gladly let it go unchecked for so long that illegal immigrants make up a significant portion of the population. Probably the worst part is that they acquire materials and jobs and take advantage of 'natural born' laws in such a way that they become anchored down or potentially cause economic lag.

My brother was hit by an illegal immigrant with an unregistered car. So, who got to pick up the cost of medical care? You can probably guess.

I've know, and even dated, quite a few people who came to America and have been here legally for some time but without bothering to get their citizenship. Most of the time it's due to their parent's not taking care of business from the start. Although that's not their fault, it's still something that should have been done. But then they become old enough to do it themselves and simply put it off. So then they discover, especially after 9/11, that it's harder and harder to get citizenship and that, in some cases, the original means by which they legally remained here is about to expire. So they become stuck between a rock and hard place by a means of their parent's making and perpetuated by their own.

Like like most things, it's just easier to get it out of the way early.

Banned because I finally got videos of my gladiatorial robotics competition. Unfortunately, the image quality is not good enough to see the slashes our saw cut through the other robots' quarter-inch-thick steel plate.

I get the idea behind the wedge, but if it can't corner you and produce enough force, it's wasted. It did move plenty the second time, but I have no idea how you decide a 'winner'. The wedge was not rendered inoperable, but it failed to trap yours in place. I would have them do a sudden death match again Ed209

banned for I can see why you lost. The two wedges hit a stalemate, but the one with the larger rollers woulda won if it didn't concede ground after cornering you two. And your machine got stuck. Hey, good fight though.
