Morph: Banned because I just like to have the opinions of other people contrast to or compliment my ideas, but as a result I generally piss off the people I ask for either blowing off their advice or not needing it. I guess I'll just shut up about my personal life and be a robot like everyone else.

Draak: Construction of paragraphs was never my strong suit in English. Once in 4th grade I wrote a 3 page long paper about my life in Hawaii, but didn't have paragraphs, so I got marked off 50%.

Ryat: My only complaing about Distant Stars is that the game is too damn fast paced for me.   I guess I've been playing too much Empire Total War, the whole turn based "Take as long as you like to do as much as you can" system slowed me down a bit compared to the RX4 of SoaSE.

@ Xer07 - well you could always try a slower setting or mess with the gameplay.constants file (its already been textified) to find your own settings

I leave movement and all normal, but I put research on the slowest. That and I tend to be the kind to play with a shield wall strategy of moving up defensive formations, which takes a while but keeps my casualties low.

Ryat & Draak: Banned because my first game playing DS in a while, I forget the map name (Description was "1v9, Can You Survive?") and I set it so that all the weak AI (normals) had one ally at start, and all the hard ai (Unfair) had a weak ai (easy) at start as well, just to see how that'd work out. I was excited by how fast the game went by (considering in my old game it literally took 10 years to research ring bayonets) until I heard my Homeworld was under attack. Over the next... eh... 2 minutes or so, I had 4 fleets with a total of 50 LF's, 20 LRF's, 4 Carrier Cruisers, and 3 Capital Ships. The SoaSE AI kicks the hell out of the E:TW Ai, but it was shocking to see the AI work together so well. I guess I need to be un-noobed is all. I'll turn down the speed from "Very Fast" to "Normal" while I'm at it, I guess.

Yes, that is the thing about RTS games. Even if you set things to slow as shit, they can get pretty intense when something big ass comes your way. Always give yourself some means of watching the backdoor. I like stations cause even if they can't hold the line, they buy you time and give you alerts.

And yes, I've had enemies (unallied) that have put aside their differences just to gang rape me.

banned for I would not argue with you.

I would like enemies that had something of a GalCiv AI design, with tricky ass alliance set-ups, but Sins really isn't about diplomacy. That feeling is probably due to the original limitations in diplomacy and the AI's tendency to lack any real use of it.
