Banned because said glorified torch has extremely simple logistics. So what if it won't consistently kill armored targets? You always have enough ammunition.

I'm okay with people double checking your drawers at the airport, but there isn't any call for that shit on a campus.

If she's Indian than I really see no reason why they wouldn't support her opinion; Indian != Arab; and even then, Arab != Terrorist.

As for the law suit, it's not necessarily up to a jury. As a civil court case, you can choose to have a judge make the decision, which means you have someone more interested in technicalities than feelings. Works out quite often. Recently a guy sued two cops who wrote him a slew of tickets after he flicked them off. Not only was he wrongly pulled over (in that the tickets were bunk charges), but he won on the stance that his freedom of expression was violated.

There are many more things I can point out about government systems that are just wrong or funny, but that would be ranting.
