THis is awesome. I mean not only does the gov "force" out the current Head people in GM... they are now going to use OUR TAX MONEY to back warranties of those makers cars...heres the story:

"One, the president will announce a new government-backed warranty program for all new GM and Chrysler vehicles purchased during this restructuring period. A fund will be set up equal to 125 percent of the total cost to pay for warranty service.  The auto makers will contribute 15 percent while the government will provide 110 percent, with the money coming from the economic stabilization funds, the gift that keeps on giving. A separate company will hold the funds and pay the claims even if one of the auto manufacturers goes into bankruptcy or out of business."

Yeah the gift that just keeps giving.

With that said... all this money wasted... I for one when the first sum was giving to these idiots.... said that this would do NOTHING but make sure that they are back withen months for more... and guess what... not only did we waste billions, they are back and looking like they will file bankrupsy anyways. So we lost people... us tax payers and our kids. Some of us saw though the BS that the politicans spewed, alot of you didnt. I place the blame ON YOU PEOPLE that supported this. While you guys are letting the AIG guys get drug though the mud for bonuese that our politicans more or less SAID THEY COULD HAVE, this stuff is okay. Good job america good job.

I cant wait till the auto makers are US GOV owned... er I mean US TAX PAYERS owned
