    1. This mod was created by JasonFJ, a Star Wars fan and avid gamer, who somehow managed to thrash out this mod despite holding down a full time job and one hell of a fine girlfriend. Appreciate my sacrifice!
    2. Goafan - The only other modder for Requiem, a great co-conspirator who has contributed a lot to the evolution and improvements of Requiem. Also the author of the "Requiem Plus" add-on.
    3. George Lucas - Full tribute belongs to George Lucas who as we all know was the originator of all thought and material that now comprises the Star Wars universe. George if you're ever in Singapore or Australia drop me an email I'd like to buy you dinner sometime. If you're a Lucasarts legal suit looking to sue me for copyright, consider how much free publicity I've given the company and franchise and consider sending me a $10,000 cheque for my time
    4. EvilJedi - for the significant graphics and audio effects that are the cornerstone of the mod without which I probably would never have done this mod.
    5. Gurkoz -  for the incredible sound effects that make this mod even better.
    6. ManShooter - for the Volumetric Explosions mod which was included in Requiem Entrenchment to v2.8... truly a god-like graphics enhancement!
    7. Tohklidan -for components of Celestial Bodies mod that really inspired me to work on the celestial bodies artwork.
    8. Uzii -for the planet textures and inspiration that came from the awesome Sins Plus mod.
    9. Bailknight and Moguta - for the original and continued development of this mod which I've adapted for use with Requiem Diplomacy.
    10. Credits to Grundel for the icon button graphics

Just played the mod for the first time. The minimalist hud takes some getting used to, but everything's pretty good.

But please, for the love of god, it's TURRET, not turrent. Please fix this in the next iteration!

Well, everytime I try to install a mod I stop at the "apply the mod" part of it. The game simply crash. I dont know what should I do. I get this nini dump all the time. And yes, I am using the correct version of Sins.

So, um...The empire has the Venator...fine, I can see them keeping a few around for duty on the outer rim. It's a bit of a stretch, but I'll buy it.

However, they should probably NOT have X- and B-Wings. Oops.

Any idea what the Alliance might get instead of a Venator? A Bothan Assault Cruiser might be appropriate, since it's supposed to be a replacement for the Victory. Also, if you can't find a BAC model, it looks like the Pillar of Autumn from Halo...there might be a model of that.

The Nebula-class Star Destroyer might also work, althought it would be more appropriate as a bigger capital ship, requiring research.

Empire does not have Venator, Alliance does and this has been discussed before. Empire does not have X-wings and B-wings. Alliance does. BAC is New Republic and so is Nebulon class.

Edit: Wait, did the Imps get Venator in 2.3?

^Yup, and Jason is aware the strikecraft are still Rebel. It will be fixed in 2.4.

As for Diplominator, a couple of people have suggested the Bothan Assault Cruiser, though no one have the faintest idea where to find a model. However, the mod is supposed to be set in the Galactic Civil War, which as Rnick says, eliminates them, though I would be willing to swallow the BAC just to get a Bothan ship in their.

I get the exact same  problem, whenever I apply the mod it crashes and gives me a mini-dump..

    I am using 1.17 original.

This mod is only for Entrenchment.

Okay, so the Nebula and BAC are out (unless there's a Pillar of Autumn model somewhere).  The only other idea I can think of is giving both sides the Venator, or maybe an Acclamator Mk II. Except the Acclamator is substantially smaller than most of the other capital ships. Hrm.

Well, best of luck. It's an amazing mod.

So uh... is this mod only for widescreen monitors? Cause I'm playing at a regular aspect ratio and some of the UI looks a bit off.

Doesn't EvilleJedi have a BAC Model?

DeltaAssault Yeah, the ui looks weird sometimes. Look back a page or two and Jason says how to revert to stock.

I didn't think people would dislike the minimalist HUD so much... I'm running a poll over at http://sins.imperial.cc to try to gather some overall user feedack but if people overwhelming vote against it I'll take it out and perhaps make it a selectable mod download.

Yes, the Venator shifted over to the Empire due to overwhelming public demand(!) and the 2.4 release will replace the fighter craft back to Empire (my bad).

Thanks for those who responded to the other issues relating to running it in original v1.17 (sorry, I don't intend to port it to non-Entrenchment though if someone wants to do it no problems I will even host it just that I'd rather focus on Entrenchment features - the 2.4 version will feature XQ1 and Golan 3 platforms courtesy of Danman and the 7DS team.

Im hoping to release it this coming weekend....

The minimalist hud is good, no need to take it away for me.

It let you see more of the game screen than the vanilla one, they could even implement it in my opinion. Way better.

    Disagree.

    1. The HUD looks weird on some monitors, including mine.
    2. Focus on your game? It distracts me.
    3. It looks unfinished and really isn't needed.

At least I know how to get rid of it, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Um..perhaps it's possible to make it a selectable option?

So people doesn't need to get on the code to add/remove just in case they aren't programmers/modders, like me for example, and this get sorted?

Btw, Mc80 and Mc80a names or descriptions are still inverted (I don't know which one as I'm not a lore master but they are obiviously inverted if you read them attentively), since 2.2.

You don't have to be a programmer/modder. You just have to delete 2 files in the mod, in Textures I think: Skin_Tech.tga and Buttons_Interface.tga.

That's good to hear but since it involve 'deleting' I suppose that is the way to make the minimalist hud go away.

I actually like it, apparently some other people as well and I was just worried that if it go away...putting it back will be a lil harder.

The solution you are suggesting (to leave it in and let users get rid of it) would be fine for me personally, as I want the minimalist hud but then a little line in the readme should mention how to do to get rid of it - and you know how many people actually read those...it may just brings us back to where we are now, arguing on a thread about it.

I think I'm going to just include a batch file in the release that simply deletes /Textures/xxxx files relative to the Requiem directory. Those who hate the minimalist hud can get rid of it with one click.

On another note, I'm stuck releasing 2.4 because of a problem with the Golan 3 mesh. Unfortunately it's been tilted on it's side and since I'm now running Vista and Windows 7 I don't have an easy way to get 3DS Max running without re-installing XP..  so if anybody happens to be reading this that has 3DS Max and can correct this for me it will help me get this out in the next day or so. I can send the files.

I'm sorry I can't help with 3DS Max, but I know what I consider an easy way to get an XP system working. Virtualize!

A virtualized XP machine can be setup on windows vista using any free virtualization software.

On the other side 3DS Max may (I suppose it's some graphical software) need resources a virtualized machine may not be able to provide, but it's worth a try if there aren't better options.

Actually that's a very good idea... maybe it's time to buy that VMWare workstation license! Then should I run the VMWare on Windows or Linux. Probably Linux but then I'd need a primary Linux partition.

Or maybe I should just created a third primary bootable partition and boot into Vista, Win7 and XP as required.

Or maybe I should make everyone happy and find a way to convert .mesh for import into XSI Mod Tool and get so much karma I'll obliterate Harpo for first place?? :D

jason the first place is annatar not me, but do go ahead with the mesh tool idea it does sound VERY USEFULL for all modders and moddelers. the easiest way to multiboot osses is seperate hardware, ie a xp box & a win7 box & return vista for a refund as un useable.
