I have already contacted the support service, but i am just checking here to see if anyone has encountered the problem too and knows how to sort it out.

Ah, in that case nope, sorry :( I've never seen anyone post here about it. It may be a server hiccup on their end, who knows.

Sounds like either an issue with your account or with payment.  I can't remember anyone else posting with a similar problem.

On and Anny how have you managed to gain yet more Karma since the last time I posted?  I'm quite glad of my +4  ;P

If you go into Impulse, do you see Sins of a Solar Empire listed on your games list?

That might be your problem, if not. Sales should be able to help you either way. :)

I'm not sure if this thread is still active but I had the exact same error last weekend. I tried 7 times with just 1 item in my cart, only pre-orders, or 3 games.
Stardock sales has confirmed that their system did not even attempt to charge my credit card(s) so the error does not have anything to do with the payment system. This is preventing me from spending money on impulse, and I doubt that this is what Stardock wants.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

PIDU, what do you mean you enabled cookies? Cookies are enabled by default for me.

Branko,

I understand that you have tried using Impulse and then FireFox to make the purchase.  Is it possible that you have some piece of security software installed that would monitor internet traffic?  If so, could you turn this off and try again?  Also, see if using IE makes any difference.

No sorry for the confusion. I have only tried using firefox. I do not have security software running on my PC but I have only tried this on 1 PC.

I cannot try again now because the coupon I was using has expired by now and that coupon was the reason I wanted to make these purchases now.

I would assume that IE and Impulse work the same but I will try using IE separately next time. However, in the past I have always stopped bying from any store that doesn't work with Firefox. I will only try this because I like Stardock ;P . Once again I will wait for a good offer to come along and try again. Maybe the only reason it didn't work was because of the coupon I was using. (how's that for teasing!)

My appologies for the problems you were having purchasing with FireFox.  We have tested purchasing through our store using FireFox and as of yet, have not found any issues.  The suggestion to try IE was more to see if there was something that your installation of FireFox didn't like about our store.

Yes I understand, and for Stardock I am happy to give that a try.
The purchase I wanted to make was based on the 20% off coupon from last weekend tho, so I cannot try it again.

I will wait for my next attempt until another similar offer comes along.

Would it be possible to select a $0,- item form the store and try different ways of 'buying' that. For testing? Probably not ;)
