The American Revolution Part II

With Chuck Norris!

Well this article is interesting.

The call by some right wing leaders for rebellion and for the military to refuse the commander in chief’s orders is joined by Chuck Norris who claims that thousands of right wing cell groups have organized and are ready for a second American Revolution. During an appearance on the Glen Beck radio show he promised that if things get any worse from his point of view he may “run for president of Texas.” The martial artist/actor/activist claims that Texas was never formally a part of the United States in the first place and that if rebellion is to come through secession Texas would lead the way.

Today in his syndicated column on WorldNetDaily Norris reiterates the point: “That need may be a reality sooner than we think. If not me, someone someday may again be running for president of the Lone Star state, if the state of the union continues to turn into the enemy of the state.”

A right wing uprising and secession of Texas?  President Chuck Norris?
And liberals are the crazy ones?
Heh.
This is why I don't care much for politics...that shit drives you absolutely mad.

Although I do believe the phrasing is a bit off.  It's more like a second Civil War.

But saying that would make it sound like a bad idea. >_>

Chuck Norris was the speaker at my Son's college graduation last year.  He was well received.  He has a very humble lowly background and did well for himself.  He struggled with his speech some so not sure how he'd do as a leader.

One thing's for sure, he's not the eloquent speaker that Obama is.  That in itself would give him my vote.  He comes across as a real true blue American who lived the American Dream.  I still think Obama is using America for his stepping stone for something else.

Your criteria for leaders is very low.  Bush must've been a dream candidate for you.

I enjoy an eloquent speaker, as I'm not one myself.  I can write, sure...but public speaking is not my forte and I have a bit of envy for people that can pull it off.  Though if they're still saying stupid things, then I'm not interested.

This has to be one of the most hilarious things I've read in ages, Zoo.  Thanks for the laugh, mate.  I still don't understand why anyone would think Chuck Norris or anyone of his ilk would make a better leader than someone like Obama (or even Bush, for that matter).

People have a way of losing touch with reality when they're pissed (and probably drunk).  While stupid, it gives us all a good laugh...and that's really all that matters in the end. :)
