Well I dont know about bashing, But My Comment about having a "Official WB Version with all the bells and whistles" was actually meant as In a "Official TSF Built WB". Sure one could make a cloned version for Personal use, but I would rather see you guys build it..

Ok...now it seems with have crossed into the bashing realm once again. This is getting really old.

It all boils down to this...it's a matter of preference...some prefer WindowBlinds...some prefer Hyperdesk. Both have created some really awesome stuff to adorn our desktops.Take your pick and leave it at that. In the end its all meaningless anyway.

Karen, my original statement was that a friend had a customer service problem with the people who sold him msstyles. I have called him to verify, but he hasn't returned my call yet. starkers then commented that it was TGTsoft...however, I don't remember my friend saying that.

At no time did I make reference to Hyperdesk in that regard. I would assume Jeff's customer service is better than that my friend received as he wishes to sell his product.

Jeff, the link leads to a bunch of themes, but I assume they are essentially XP and none for Vista's differences?

And webgizmos, you can't say some prefer Windowblinds and some prefer Hyperdesk. Not the same thing. You could say some prefer .wb and some prefer .msstyles though

My point is, Jeff's attitude in these posts is all the proof I need to steer me clear of Hyperdesk's customer service.  

Now, I know that I can be a PITA sometimes, and I'm an opinionated, judgmental, often touchy broad, but even with some of Stardocks most "no-BS" people, I have been treated with respect....because I think they KNOW, there are customers, and would-be customers, who lurk at these forums and will see how people are treated.  From Jeff's posts, you can tell...he just doesn't give a shit what people think.

And I'm sorry that this thread, despite pleas that it not, turned into a bash Hyperdesk thread, but from what I can tell, Hyperdesk asks for this sort of thing, with it's/it's staff's general attitude.

Bebi Bulemia or whatever her name is,constantly talks about how "their windows are so large" and yet raves about some rocket ship on a start menu that has titlebars that are maybe 3 pixels shorter. This is typical. And this is why i come here and have so much fun with you folks.

 

You want to talk about lack of respect. Kol and I spent many weekend nights working on this theme. There hasn't been one member on this forum up to this point that has been here at WC longer than me so far. And i'm still here. And happy. And hungry. Got to go...

He's a masochist who keeps trying to punch back and gets slapped in the mouth instead. According to him...his artists are gods (and his alone, no one else counts) and we peons aren't allowed to have opinions about their masterpieces because we're amateurs who don't know any better. So heaven forbid when we do have opinions, he tries to bringeth the smackdown and whines and cries about how he's so mistreated when he brings it on himself.

Sad for such a thing that should not be so public with concerns as this. Facts are easily reported and not defended. Defense is always left to a person with a proper relation to the public. The public is what is your means of support. Thus destroying that you loose support - in a whole - this is costly to any business.

I voiced my opinion due to what I like and use. Not by how much you have in it or such as I care what you or anyone else did. For that matter why even they did it.

If I say it is junk - then that is what it is to me. So be it!

You can't handle that then - ok - to bad - that is what my opinion is and that is that.

Mainly your unprofessional ways have made up my mind and I'll never see it any different till something is just that. More professional in your way of doing things.
