Installing Themes

How to

from Stardock Forums

Must be slow here  - I want to install some themes to try them out - they come over from  WinCustomize.com as ZIP files but the Theme Management is expecting .DOCKZIP files.


Any guidance?

May I ask what SD software you have installed (Object Desktop 0r Object Desktop Ultimate, WindowBlinds. etc.)?

If you have only Object Dock Plus (OD+) then you're asking how to apply a skin for OD+, yes?

You will need to extract them to your ObjectDock Library.

Found in username/Documents/Stardock/Objectdock Library in Vista.Backgrounds for those,unsorted downloads for icons.

Alternately, and preferred for reasons below,backgrounds can go in C/ProgramFiles/Stardock/ObjectDock/Backgrounds

Running Indicators must go into ProgramFiles/Stardock/ObjectDock/RunningIndicators to work properly,btw.

Same with tabbed backgrounds with custom plus/minus images.

Do you have winrar,or 7zip installed? You will need an extraction program.
