Karen...now that's just adorable and funny as hell....Cap'n Jack Sparrow's pooch....we should name him (multiple choice!):

1. Captain Gaspasser of the good ship Flatulence

2. Stinky Bart, sailing the seven seas on: The Loaded Diaper

3. Luten PiLage

4. Count d'Loot

5. Ivana Sinkyu

6. Cpt. Seymour Butts

OR, you can use the Pirate Name Generator (yes, gang there is such a thing!) HERE

Not often...just for Talk-Like-A-Pirate day and Halloween (same days I do).  Here she is as Dog Vader. (I LOVE the way the camera flash turned her eyes glowing-green).

FUNNY! Kibbles of the Dark Side of The Pooch!

I'm going to be totally unconsolable when she dies (she was diagnosed with cancer 8 months ago).  I thought I loved a dog as much as I could when I had the one before her, but when I was back in Kansas for my son's wedding I saw pictures of that one and it took me a few minutes to even recognize which dog that was! (Hazards of returning to Kansas...having to endure the pictures of my past life that I purposely left behind because I wanted to reinvent my life).

This one...Baby dog....she's almost human.  I have never, ever, in my 17 years of dog training/raising experience known a dog to be this communicative.  She will totally pull that "Lassie" thing, where she'll use her face to show you where she wants you to go, and if you don't "get it" she'll touch you with her paw, and then walk back and forth from where you're sitting to where she wants you to go; and she gets concerned when there is strife in the house, and she'll whine/cry when someone is arguing, even if its the rats wrestling with each other!

I sometimes feel they are more human than us....sorry, Karen...the memories of the love and fun should outweigh the sorrow...make an album or screen saver and keep it for "after". I bet she'd love knowing how much joy she's brought into your life! <3

Here's my old boy Wooly.  We have the same moustache and goatee.  He's a 60 pound Belgian Shepard and Australian Shepard mix.  He has only barked about a dozen times in twelve years.  Very laid back like his daddy.

That still doesn't tell us how many times you've barked in the last 12 years though Ed!
